Background
Mr. Joudrie is an accomplished business leader with 35+ years of diverse mining and metals industry experience and a track record of unlocking investment opportunities. Mr. Joudrie is President & CEO of Selkirk Copper Mines Inc. a First Nations majority held copper-gold-silver development opportunity in the Yukon. From 2012-2024 he was VP, Business Development with Teck Resources directing several mining development projects as well as managing numerous joint venture interests and partnerships.
Mr. Joudrie has established high-performance management and operating teams in a range of businesses including exploration & mining, equipment manufacturing, construction materials, and industrial marketing and has extensive experience establishing governance systems that support Board, Management and Shareholders to realize a business’s full potential.
Mr. Joudrie was Chair of Mining for Miracles for 4-years (2008-2011) raising >$10M for BC Children’s Hospital along with establishing a governance model focused on leadership development and donor relationship management.
Mr. Joudrie holds a BSc.H Geology from Queen’s University and a MBA from Western University (Ivey School of Business). Mr. Joudrie is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM), the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and is active in the Queen’s and Western Alumni communities.
