Background
Hank Biesbroek has served as the President of Grand Central Properties Inc. since its inception in 2000.
A journeyman carpenter by trade, Mr. Biesbroek has resided in the Cochrane area for more than 30 years. A long time entrepreneur, he is the President of Terryanne Developments Limited which developed and built the Riverside and West Valley communities and is also the former owner of the Smitty’s Family Restaurant.
In addition to overseeing various business ventures, Mr. Biesbroek served on the Cochrane Town Council and various committees for 5 years (1983-87). He served as Chair for the Cochrane Centennial Celebrations Committee, the Cochrane Partnership for Economic Development and served the Chamber of Commerce as Vice President, President and past President (6 years). He is the only recipient of 3 community awards presented by the Chamber of Commerce: Ambassador of the Year, Community Builder of the Year and Citizen of the Year.
Along with many other local board and volunteer positions, Mr. Biesbroek also pursues volunteer efforts in both Mexico and Honduras.
He and his wife Terry enjoy spending time with their sons and grandchildren.
